Hey there everyone! It's the start of Persona Recursion, and what better way to kick off things in the OOC/Meme comm then with a Intro Meme? With a twist- you also have the option to babble about the choices behind your character's Personafied changes! All you have to do to participate is Fill in the handy form provided with as much or as little information as you want to and reply here. Then, go about responding to other people as well. The choice babbling is totally optional!

If you want to babble about your AU choices, the feel free to copy this too, and fill out or erase whatever you like. If you just want to talk about your demon choice, that's fine too!

Interests: I'm heavily into JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Inazuma Eleven right now and would consider those favorites, but there's seriously a long list of shows I watch with too wide a range to get into, plus I'm always willing to try new ones. (That's how Ina happened, actually. Thanks, Cro.) I like movies, music, reading, video and/or computer games, can't cook to save my life but love baking and usually manage not to destroy my kitchen when I try. Love animals and space, have a cat. Not leading to a nyan punchline...or am I? Give me puns. (The worse, the better.) They are my primary source of sustenance.

Character: Shirou Fubuki
Canon: Inazuma Eleven
AU: Going by the AU name Kouyuki Jin, he's enrolled in Green Valley as a 2nd Year in the Lower Cycle. His extracurriculars include track and field athletics (specifically the 400m and high jump) and the Detective Club. While not traditionally related, and and Michi Yamashita (Yuuto Kidou) are still brothers. Kouyuki's mother was unable to have children, and the Yamashita family provided friendly aid by way of Michi's mom becoming a surrogate. There were some complications in the pregnancy and Kouyuki was born premature, but otherwise had a happy, healthy childhood. The first 3 years were spent in Japan, and then he traveled with his parents for their work. By the age of 8 though, his parents recognized that in order to succeed, he'd need a more stable environment and so he went to live full time with his other family in Eddan: his aunt and uncle, his brother Michi, and cousin Kyoko. He's well known around the school, generally well liked and surrounded by a large social circle, and tends to like to use his unassuming appearance to catch unsuspecting people by surprise with soft teasing and pranks. When he's not rising to just about any challenge, he's seen as kind and gentle, and he will stick up for people if there's a need, especially when it comes to family whom he's fiercely loyal to and protective of.

Anything Else?:

Demon: Marchosias
Why?: Honestly, I'd considered Marchosias, Vassago, and Andras, but after establishing that I want to focus on a positive story arc with Fubuki, one where (as in canon) he overcomes his issues, I didn't want to give him a demon that would prohibit his growth or even be a detriment, and that knocked Andras out of the running. I was left then with Marchosias and Vassago, and while the latter had a prince theme that I liked being able to tie into one of Fubuki's nicknames, Marchosias' overall theme of wanting to rise back up to heaven rung more true with Fubuki's desire to be perfect and to be like the wind. Marchosias' fighting spirit and determination, as well as being a winged wolf, are also all elements that tie into Fubuki's design, theme, and hissatsu technique in canon. In short, Marchosias was the only choice all along.

Branch: Combatant
Why?: He may have briefly been a captain in canon for Hakuren, but Fubuki is a essentially a perfect playing piece, boasting exceptional defensive and offensive capabilities. He would not be able to function as a navigator, and his talents would go to waste there because he would be too preoccupied with thinking about what he would do if he were fighting. Not that he doesn't play navigator to himself anyway... He can be a little difficult to control at times.

Type(s): Ice, Wind
Why?: Because these are his canon elements. Or rather, his and Atsuya's.

Style(s): Buffer
Why?: I'd considered sorcerer briefly for the way it ties into another of his nicknames, but ultimately decided that, since I was leaning in a positive direction with his story arc, giving him a style that would foreshadow his potential for positive growth and ability to better work with people later on would be best. As a buffer, his ability to defend as well as attack as equal chance to shine.

Passive: Dual
Why?: Simply because he's canonically both, so this was perfect.
