December is generally a pretty challenging month for rp in most games, and we know it’s been no exception here. So we’re going to do something a little different for AC this month: This month is predominantly a check-in, BUT if you have the 10 comments for AC, you are qualified for a reward!

The reward? Either one item from home for your character OR one magic item randomized by the mods. To claim your reward, please link your 10 comments (starters and top levels included) in your check-in response. Please tell us which option you would like as a reward. If requesting an item from home, please describe it and any abilities it may have. The mods will review items on a case-by-case basis. If requesting a magic item, you’re welcome to give a broad adjective about what you might like it to do (such as “offense,” “healing,” “stealth,” etc.)

Get thinking! The AC check-in post will go up as usual on January 1, with AC due by January 5.

It's November AC time! One day late, because I apparently lost my brain yesterday. Because this is going up a day late, we're extending the due date by a day as well.

As usual, 10 comments required per active character. A post to the network counts the same as one comment.

Have a new character that was accepted this past month? Note that it's a new character and you get a free pass. (Though if you have the AC anyway, go for it!)

AC will be open until Wednesday, December 6. Posts/comments that you make between now and the 6th do count; they just can't then be used for the next month.

Good day everyone! We have a lot of announcements to get through, so please bear with us as we give you a rundown of a few upcoming changes to the game.

APPLICATION CHANGES
Due to the game's small size, we have decided to open applications at all times. If you wish to join, simply submit an application on the application page. You are also free to place a reserve there if you desire. It will be valid for a week.

Additionally, AUs, CRAUs and OCs are now accepted from the get-go. You will not need to be in this game with another application before being allowed to apply for one.

Moreover, should you choose to app for a second or third character, we will no longer require a writing sample (keep in mind, however, that we may ask for one should we judge the application isn't complete enough.)

REAPPLYING
If you wish to return to the game, all you will need to do is reply to the application page with a link to your previously accepted application. Note that you can reapply in this way only a month after you have left (this is just to make sure characters who leave before AC cannot reapply right away).

TONE CHANGES
You will notice that the next few months’ activities, we will be structuring the game more around the characters themselves and personalizing the game around the characters to take advantage of the game's small cast.

This will mean that all characters will need to submit a small survey (at the bottom of this post) that will allow us to make events specifically for that character. This includes ideas, nightmares and dreams that might have not been in their application. We will be taking advantage of the fact that Persona is a mature series to integrate darker ideas, should you feel like making your character suffer more (we won't judge ^_-)!

Since it is much easier to work with a small cast for this type of modification, we will also be giving the players more options on how to proceed with the rebellion.

For example: In this month's event, characters will be able to pick between three targets. Whatever information is obtained from the one picked will determine the next course of action in January and February.

Note that the small survey mentioned for your character at the bottom also includes an option of what direction you'd like the game to go on going forward -- for example, if we have more people wanting a lot of action, we will structure new events accordingly.

INFILTRATION
Kicking off a series of events that will culminate towards the game's first arc concluding, characters will be infiltrating the school for additional information. Please note that what happens during the infiltration will be very important going onward to where the plot is headed and what type of information that the characters will get.

The targets are the three vice principals. Luci will explain that some part of him senses that each of them is hiding something, but exactly that is, he is unsure. Due to the team's small size, it would be best if they concentrated on only one of them. We will let the players decide which one -- which we will determine by vote.

HOWEVER: While this is the solution offered by Luci, we encourage players below to offer alternate solutions or plans that could turn the tide completely differently. Discussion is heavily encouraged. If your character is good at infiltrating? Let us know. Able to hack efficiently? Note that down. Character skills should definitely come into play against this first real obstacle!

Without further ado, here are the three targets. Characters who are involved in school would know who they are. Some might even know them closely if they have similar areas of interests to let us know!

Felix
This vice principal is super engaged and excited about things. Newsletters tend to be full of 1990s clipart, bold letters, and so on. He's also hairy -- covered in man hair all over hairy. However, his beard and sideburns are always trimmed. He knows most students by their names, which is a feat considering the school's size.

Apart from being a vice principal, he is also part-time gym teacher. The fact that he's tall and muscular reinforces that image. When he laughs it is loud and heartfelt: "HAHAHAHA oh, student x, that's hilarious".

Jeremy
The second vice principal is super thin and tall -- like a guy who needs a sandwich . . . though how many sandwiches would a guy need if he's over seven feet tall? He is really bad with doorframes, and if you make him exit somewhere, 99% of the time he will bump on the frame and mutter a quick swear before leaving.

He likes to stare at students in silence before answering. His voice is quiet, but hard to ignore. Jeremy is a gentle giant (apart from swearing when bumping doors) and is seen mostly in the technical areas of the school -- computer rooms, libraries, etc.

Norman
The last vice-principal is vanilla everything. He looks nothing out of the ordinary -- average height, average build, average life, average desk -- and he's just an overall nice guy. Luci says he's pure boring in human form. Norman does play the guitar.

Just remember that in picking, there is no wrong answer. Eventually each character will be explored; it is more a question of who will be targeted first and what will be the first real clues to unravel the mystery.

Hi, all! It’s time for September AC!

. . . Wait a minute, you might say. Didn’t we just do that? It was a check in.

That was August AC posted way later than intended. We’re working on getting back on schedule, so this is your official AC post for the activity that you did in September. However, we know things got convoluted and you might be a bit off track too, so we’re going to run it this way:

AC is 10 comments total. This could have happened over a couple different comment threads. It could be a post to one of the main comms plus comments. It just needs to add up to 10 total.

Don’t have 10 yet? The AC deadline will be Tuesday, October 10. We just posted up an event. There’s still some time to accrue some last AC! Whatever you do during this time period will be able to be used towards September’s AC OR towards October’s when we post next month.
