Ok so I have no idea if Bloodstained is actually going to be GOOD or not (though I pray on a weekly basis that it will be) but one of the weapons that shows up in the demos there is a really cool flintlock style pistol.

It might fit Alucard's general aesthetic; at least that was an initial line of thinking that I had.

Otherwise, maybe something like throwing knives or the like might work as a ranged weapon, too?
