Weapons and Outfits Meme!

As a reminder...
Weapons:
⚔ All characters get two weapons: a close range melee weapon, and long range weapon. However, between combatants and navigators, there are some key differences.
⚔ Combatants
- Their new Weapon can be anything from simple like swords or daggers, to the extraordinary like flaming chainsaws, chairs, pieces of ribbons and so on. There does not seem to be a limit of what constitutes as a weapon.
- As a long range weapon, combatants also get guns or crossbows. These also tend to follow the overall theme of the character - someone who is more physical would get a larger gun to use, while a more practical user might get a small handgun.
⚔ Navigators
- The weapons of the Navigator are the same as a combatants, however their physical weapon is usually small (daggers, small bombs, etc).
- Their long-range weapon, on the other hand, tends to be based of those that can be used as a distance; many navigators will use sniper rifles and cannons from a distance.
Outfit:
☸ When running around at night with their Personas, all characters magically have their outfits changed
☸ From the FAQ: The clothes a character wears when they're Awakened can be influenced by a canon outfit, certainly, but it's meant to be tied more to their demons and their inner heart conflict. Basically, they're part inner self and part rule of cool.
So with that said... .

So what I'm mostly stuck on is Chikusa's long range weapon, and his outfit! More the former than the latter.
In canon, Chikusa's main line of attack are a pair of needle spewing yoyos (because that's the kind of canon KHR is), the needles being highly poisonous and what cause of so much damage. Very much an assassin's weapon. However, I'm not sure if that's the kind of long-range weapon which fits best for Navigators... Other people's thoughts would be appreciated, whether saying it's fine or giving alternative suggestions if not.
As for his outfit... In canon, Chikusa mainly wears a green school uniform when we see him, and the sole time we get to see his fashion choices before that.... Well. So there's nothing from canon to really pull from. Since his group is aggressively against the mafia, I'm thinking a suit of some sort, but.... /shrug noises.
His inner heart conflict is going to be wanting to return back to his canon group/purpose VS having a taste of what a nice, non-fucked life is like.
His demon is Astaroth, a naked guy with feathery wings holding a snake and riding a dragon, because that's how demons are. He seduces people into laziness and sloth of both body and thought.

I have no fashion sense but neither does Kamen Rider on good days, so.Makoto's inner conflict comes from a lot of different things. 'Who is the real Makoto Fukami?' despite his being like 90% sure it's him. 'Am I worthy of being cared about?' 'Does it matter if I'm seen as the bad guy?' 'Is it okay to feel so out of the loop with Earth since I've been away for ten years?' His demon is Marchosias.
In my head it looks a little bit like Wolf Undead because I'm also Blade trash. Or possibly the Garurumon line because I'm also Digimon trash. It's probably bipedal with the snake tail just. Instead of wolf tail.I have a lot of image links for his usual battle forms in canon.
Mid-transformation base, 'default' form. Super mid-transformation base, super form, super form prepping for finisher.
I'd like him to keep the helmet somehow because it is literally called the Persona. ... It's the Persona [word], but that changes depending on the form because this is toku, we gotta sell the toys so we gotta have lots of them. His elements are physical and nuclear, if that helps with it at all. Makoto has no real sense of what is rebellions and/or cool due to being entirely out of the loop for ten years and probably a bit out of the loop beforehand due to being somewhat raised by Takeru's dad in a temple.
I kind of doubt they had cable.no subject

His demon is Camio, which is a cute little bird that gives "the ability to understand the speech of animals and hear truths in the sound of running water". His conflict is something along the lines of...the need to return to the war he was supposed to be fighting for the future of mankind, vs his attachment to having a human life of his own with a loving family and a bright future totally lacking in glass-protected display stands.
I'm also unsure whether to go for gun or crossbow, but that's not nearly as big of an issue.

HOWEVER, some alternatives:
fox + bird demon = druid? The nature-y feel of it could be a reference to the freedom he wants, but the explicit fact that it's armor could also reference the war

For reference, here's some pictures of things from canon that might be relevant.
Gladion and his family members (which is kind of a spoiler in itself, just for fair warning). Type: Null (his primary pokemon). Silvally, Null's evolution (of whom Gladion was the first ever owner). Ultra beasts (Gladion would especially recognise the lefthand one). Golbat (his other main pokemon). Team Skull (he worked for these punks for a while).
So a lot of Gladion's issues have to do with his family, having run away from his mom who went kinda crazy researching the ultra beasts, taking Null with him, leaving his younger sister behind to deal with the crazy on her own. He worked for Team Skull to survive on his own but was never really one of them and they kind of enjoyed telling him that, though tbh they're no good punks and I doubt he's proud of working for them so I'd be all for referencing them in his outfit somehow. Also something white that could be reminiscent of either the UBs or his sister in there somewhere would be nice. He's guilty with regard to his sister and the UBs scare the hell out of him.
His negative personality things are the combination of trusting no one and being terrified he's not strong enough to deal with stuff on his own. Also he's a combatant, demon is Camio, and elements are physical and fire, if any of that is useful.
I seriously don't have any idea what to do with his long range weapon aside from like have bat wings somewhere in the design because I haven't touched Golbat yet. idk give me ideas.

Unless it's some other throwing weapon that wouldn't be too hard to lug around.
no subject
It might fit Alucard's general aesthetic; at least that was an initial line of thinking that I had.
Otherwise, maybe something like throwing knives or the like might work as a ranged weapon, too?
no subject
That's actually not a bad idea since he's just going to look at a modern gun and go "what?" Throwing knives might also work. I'll just have to pick one!
Thanks, man!

Since his internal conflicts is remaining loyal to his team, and getting away from the shadow Kageyama had cast all of them in when he was Commander of their team. The only thing I can think of is darkening the colors and adding small embellishments to it.

For long range... I am definitely tempted to do some call out to how incredibly destructive Pharos's actual powers are, so... a canon? Some really devastating long range gun? I don't know a lot about artillery in general, sob.
Outfit wise, his canon outfit is basically prison stripe pajamas. And sandals. Which is not really cool at all, but I could certainly go with it. XD His heart conflict is probably going to be based around the fact that he shouldn't exist, and while he should go home to fulfill his role, he's... probably going to figure out that he doesn't really want to, if someone convinces him to think about it. Since he likes living and all.
Help?

what about some kind of grenade launchers? it can be easily held and carried but packs a lot of power?

First off, her melee weapon is the most up in the air, but I'm leaning towards either a dodgeball, dolls like Lulu in FFX, a vacuum, or a wand (but it would basically be a giant blunt item).
Her ranged weapon is going to be a squirt gun or a ball gun. If the former is allowed, it probably just...works somehow. I'm not questioning it, but both would be pretty cool.
As for her outfit, I'm definitely going with something idolish. I like this style the most because it can easily be sporty and easy to move around in. Miu's inner heart conflict is about being lonely and needing to be the center of attention, so having it reflect in a showy pop-star "look at me" outfit is what I'm going for. Still, trying to find the right one is harder, since she's...twelve.

I'm mostly stuck on outfits, although I'm also wondering if I shouldn't change up Raidou's weapons. In canon, he uses a katana and a revolver, and I'm wondering if the latter in particular might not be too old-fashioned. Which is also the problem I'm having with his outfit, since Raidou is very traditional and Rei is... not. His usual outfit looks like this.
His inner heart conflict will likely involve his devotion to his duties and allegiance to the clan, versus the taste of rebelliousness he's gotten as Rei - basically Law vs. Chaos. Raidou started his training young and seems to have mostly been isolated in Kuzunoha Village for the duration, so the Capital was essentially the first taste he got of modern (for 1931) life in the big city. Rei is much more worldly.
Raidou's demon/Persona is Paimon, who has shown up in a few Megaten games that are not Raidou's, and who looks like this in them. Paimon is noted for his loyalty to Lucifer, which is another conflict Raidou has; back home, Lucifer would really like Raidou to act against God/YHVH for him. Raidou does not think he would like to do this.

It's... basically canon weapons. His long-range is going to be the gun mode of something that at least looks like his Gan Gun Hand, and his melee is going to be a scythe. They're probably the same weapon.
So it's RWBY.He also sometimes will just flat out hit something with the non-blade part of the scythe, because Makoto gives no fucks.no subject
So I want to keep some of his canon elements as seen in pictures like this but of course make it less of a 'HEY I AM A MONSTER' and more of someone looking like they are making it a rule of cool thing. Which means he will probably have a leather outfit with elements of his Greeed form to it - kinda like this bit of fanwork. I'm not too sure if it would follow the form exactly but it's pretty neat I think. Instead of his monster bird arm part, I was thinking of it being more like this with a more bird feathers/scales theme and longer talons instead of a slight claw look. This will also double as his melee weapon, since he is not above hitting people in canon and I think that it will translate over to this. I figured that on his left arm it would look more dainty then his main/right arm only because that is how Ankh has been identified for most of the series until he gets his full form back. Even then he still keeps his right arm in the monster form out of habit. I also am thinking of echoing how in his Greeed form he has only one eye by him wearing a mask over part of his face with the eye covered to give the appearance of blindness there, kinda like this mask save with gold and crimson instead of silver/crystal.
As for ranged weapon... Well, I am having an issue with trying to figure out a range weapon for him. In canon he is mainly tossing fireballs when he needs to but otherwise letting someone else to most of the fighting. I have been thinking of using like a disc launcher since discs and coins are about the same thing save for size and his motif in canon are coins/Medals. It would probably look like one of those toy things like this one but will have rule of cool appearing when he is in Awakened mode.

Outfit
Jaune has armor in his own canon that is rather simple, but useful Hunter fare.
However, because his Demon is a knight and his heart conflict mostly revolves around his feeling of powerlessness, failing Pyrrha, and the like -- I want to have his outfit be more armor and be influenced more by Pyrrha's color scheme (gold and red) than his own of white and gold.
I'm thinking stylized like this, but with design elements from this as well. Probably more the second than the first, honestly.
Weapon
If it's allowed, I'd like to give Jaune a broad sword AND shield. Arguably the shield could be part of his outfit that he wears on his back or something -- but I like that in canon he can combine his sword and shield to make a bigger sword. Like this!
As for ranged weapon, he didn't have one in canon, but Pyrrha used a rifle, so I'l probably give that to Jaune as well.

Weapons: Louis is going to get shiny wingblades. Who cares if they're impractical, this is Persona! His ranged weapon is going to be a trumpet that attacks by shooting sonic waves, and which he'll be using for buffing.

Outfit
To get my thoughts together, I made a kind of crappy sketch. In the end, this is heavily inspired by his canon outfit, but with some notable changes. Rather than a (weirdly fluffy) hood, he has a cape, structured the same way as Lillie's dress and falling at about the same length--but the design decoration the edges is lifted instead from Nihilego. This then is simultaneously family and the thing that ripped his family apart, all of which are things he tried to put behind him (metaphorically, but here physically as well.)
In the front it's Team Skull, with the logo closing the cape, and under that the same tank top worn by Team Skull grunts, except with the colors inverted. The shirt is white rather than black, and I haven't yet decided yet whether the X is black for a perfect inversion or red to keep his color theme intact, but either way, it's the wrong colors to blend in (because he's not really one of them, and he never will be.)
Under all that? It's the same ripped up black shirt and pants and worn in shoes from his canon clothes, because that's what he is. A homeless stray who left one life, never fully fit in another, gets knocked around, rips up his clothes, and then just keeps on wearing them because he's not sure what else to do.
Weapons
His weapons are where his Pokemon show up, which is only fitting for the canon, if a little ironic considering his bond with them is much stronger than someone who would only think of Pokemon as tools for fighting.
His melee weapon is a pair of kama, exactly as pictured there, designed in a way reminiscent of Type:Null/Silvally. The idea of using kama does pick up a little of his intense association with his main pokemon, since using them would not be unlike slashing with Null/Silvally's claws.
His ranged weapon will be a gun similar in design to this except with a smaller secondary set of wing decorations and the main color being purple and the accent being blue to mimic Crobat, which is the other pokemon he has throughout the game. (There are more on his team, but Zubat/Golbat/Crobat shows up in the most battle aside from Null/Silvally so it seemed like the right one to go with.)

I tried to think up weapons that can also be used defensively to reflect his personality, and here's what I came up with so far:
kusarigama for Yuuri's melee, because the chain and weight part can be used defensively in a way to restrict the enemy's movements while the blade part is .... obviously offensive. plus classic ninja weapon = hasetsu castle, so it makes me happy to have a weird ninja association that reflects back to his hometown?
ranged weapon wise (which he probably won't use too much, because he's unused to guns) i'm tossing up between this and this ... nambu i am particularly keen on because ... it's just that classic imperial japanese style gun, but at the same time, the aesthetic of the second one appeals to me a lot.
OUTFIT!!!
I'm honestly having a bit of trouble trying to decide on a general 'look' of the outfit - the obvious consideration for him is to take aspects from his On Love: Eros outfit because who doesn't love black/red combo???? but at the same time it would be nice to draw from his yuri on ice routine outfit with the cool backless aspect of it.... this one would be more blue/purple centric i guess.

sakuma has a trident and a bow! i don't have a reference drawn for the bow yet though.
as for his outfit, i'd like to draw from the teikoku uniform... but beyond that i haven't really thought about it fff i still need to sit down and do some brainstorming

His melee weapon will be this sword except in the form of an actual sword. His gun will be this, except inlaid with sapphire and mother-of-pearl.
