WELCOME TO THE FIRST PLANNING POST!

Congratulations on being accepted into the game. Now let's have a big meeting post, plan and have fun together!

AU PLANNING

The AU in this game is completely player's choice. We encourage you to take a look at the city and plan accordingly! Your AU information can be added to your character hub, should you desire. As long as it is available somewhere, and others can take a quick glance and know what the character's AU is.

We only ask that you try to keep everything tasteful and respect our decision if we feel you're going too far. As the game begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods first-post related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner!

The city of Eddan is very much a typical metropolis, so your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job. If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

There is also a randomized AU signup if you'd like to leave it to chance who your family members are and establish pre-game CR with new people. But if you'd rather leave it for now and wait for other app turns, that's also fine!

The first log will be posted on MAY 13TH. Please vote on what time you want it to be posted. We'll go with player majority! (As a note, this will be done for all rounds).

Please help Jaune figure out what he's going to major in XDb He just entered in Higher Cycle and will probably be dealing with some crisis before the post-AU happens and his plans get derailed.

Otherwise, in previous years he's been bullied so there might have been some stuff with that. He probably wouldn't have GONE for help, but maybe a teacher said something and he had to start going.

Currently debating whether she's at the end of Middle Cycle or the start of Higher. Either way, yes, music buddies!

Alastor definitely takes a Creative Writing class and did Theater before he managed to land work as a professional actor. And probably has no patience for her shenanigans.

I'm also considering putting him in the literature club so there is that too.

Jaune is first year higher cycle, so they are pretty close in grade too.

How would you feel about Kyoko and Minako being friends? Kyoko's a rough-and-tumble kinda girl, so clearly her bff needs to be somebody who's smart and socially well-adjusted and that she doesn't deserve at all. She's definitely the sort to melt around kinder and more socially well-adjusted types.

They're both going to have fun with the whole awakening thing too. pls grow some chill life.

Cool! Jaune's family also owns a restaurant/cafe that I'm going to be pushing for hopeful "cool teen hang out". So maybe she can frequent that as well :D

Why would I suggest a Creole/Cajun/New Orleans theme restaurant and NOT have beignets?

Yes, yes there will be beignets.

That will be a good starting point and if she's a regular or Jaune sees her often enough he would probably start trying to chat. That being said, post-Awakening I would love for Jaune to seek her out like we played out in the TDM for fencing lessons. It's just he won't be interested in that kinda thing until then!

Ciro being a huge shy baby when younger probably never helped matters I say like he isn't an introverted loser now before he becomes a hot mess

This guy has a huge soft spot for kids, if you want CR that could be roped into all sorts of shenanigans because a little girl who's had a hard life asked him to.

MAN I would love for there to be some sort of CR between these two, although I'm not sure what exactly yet (although apparently not classmates since I think Alice is a bit older than "Ciro" here). Especially since he has a slightly different view when it comes to his mental health pre-awakening considering his CR with the school counselor.

(and then awakening happens and everyone'll be a mess but hey)

Ciro is also a library lurker when he's not in gardening club, a huge studious nerd, and staying at the dorms as well!

Oh my god, just destroy my heart now and sign me the fuck up. Minako would totally make sure that Kyoko is studying as well, or a least comes over during exam time and stay up all night with sleep overs because she wants her friend to do the best that she can.

Excellent... I assume they've shared at least a few classes, at some point or another, then? I'm putting him in the first year of the higher cycle but it's entirely feasible he skipped something at some point, if she's in the senior cycle. I'm not a hundred percent sure what the cycles correspond to in the Japanese school system.

Or like, electives that don't necessarily happen in certain years or something. Whatever works best!
