WELCOME TO THE FIRST PLANNING POST!

Congratulations on being accepted into the game. Now let's have a big meeting post, plan and have fun together!

AU PLANNING

The AU in this game is completely player's choice. We encourage you to take a look at the city and plan accordingly! Your AU information can be added to your character hub, should you desire. As long as it is available somewhere, and others can take a quick glance and know what the character's AU is.

We only ask that you try to keep everything tasteful and respect our decision if we feel you're going too far. As the game begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods first-post related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner!

The city of Eddan is very much a typical metropolis, so your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job. If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

There is also a randomized AU signup if you'd like to leave it to chance who your family members are and establish pre-game CR with new people. But if you'd rather leave it for now and wait for other app turns, that's also fine!

Hello all! I'm Wei, bringing in this grumpy young teen. I still don't have a ton decided about his AU so feel free to throw any ideas you have at me.

What I know:
In his AU life, he's been going by the name of Asher. His family lives near the school, and he spends a significant amount of time with his parents and siblings. He's 14, so he's in the lower cycle, either second or third year (I could go with either, especially depending on how it might affect CR.)

If things from the test drive stand:
-Ankh is his older brother, with whom he's quite close in AU life.
-Professor Sycamore is one of his teachers and they have a good relationship as teacher and student.
-He and Moon were not acquainted in AU life, since they're in different grades even if they're at the same school. They'll have to find each other later.

I don't think I had any other test drives that really defined a relationship, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. As for anyone else, I'm open to any suggestions. Teachers? Parents? Friends? Sources of school life drama? Since his life is a lot more normal in the AU, I suspect he's not nearly as much of a loner here as he is in canon, even if he probably still does the edgy goth clothes thing when he's not stuck in a school uniform.

So as anyone that saw on the plot post we did before the TDM (I'll link it here later when I have the spoons to find it) I'm playing Koujirou Genda (Genda to everyone). He's going to be a Third year student in the lower cycle and go by the name of Christopher Noro pre-Awakening. I've been noting some stuff about him already regarding his AU life and even regarding his combat style. someone please help me figure out his long range weapon because I can't seem to settle on one that works with someone maining gauntlets.

So yeah Green Valley CR is always welcomed, as well as anyone else wanting to be subway buddies, because let's be real, commuting makes for odd friendships when you share the same subway car for six months okay.

Also after Awakening there can be shenanigans over the fact this kid is suddenly interested in a sport he didn't even know the first thing about and is suddenly hanging out with others what ??? (aka Kidou and Sakuma are going to be his go to for shadowing about after Awakening which will be a bit surprising considering 'Christopher' didn't really socialize and hang out. So him suddenly spending as much free time with others willingly is going to be a shock))


I'm also down for battle senpais because Genda has never fought an actual battle in his life, and despite how serious soccer can get in his world it's not the same as punching something to death okay. So please teach him how to punch things and how to heal tank for the party because despite his Healer style there he's going to act like a baby tank more then a squishy healer.

Especially since dorms would mean Chikusa could be at the library before Koujirou's commute gets him there, and so he'd be there to greet him.

hey everyone! my name is coco and i'm playing mako from the legend of korra! i'm still working out his AU history but i'll list what i have so far:

- if mako and riko are siblings, his full name will be mako sakurauchi. (if not then i'll be randomizing for a family!)
- he has no last name in canon btw so that's gonna be weird when he finds out lmao...
- he works part-time at a dojo as an assistant instructor
- in high school he was on the judo team, if anyone would know him through that
- mako spends most of his time in the school's library, though, studying and reading up on things for school
- he will be a first year in the higher cycle.
- he aspires to join the police force or become a lawyer. probably the former

I could see Gladion being interested in learning martial arts, and maybe having been taking classes for a while. Probably not super invested in it prior to awakening, which would lead to a noticeable contrast when he does since he canonly has a Thing about training and getting stronger and that's probably where it would channel.

Yue Katou | Angel Sanctuary

Hi! I'm Crystal/Rin (I go by either, I usually prefer "Rin" but a lot of people call me "Crystal" and I don't hate it), and I'm bringing you Katou from Angel Sanctuary! (Don't call him "Yue," he hates that.) He's a rude, eccentric teenager with a hidden loyalty streak. He was a delinquent and an addict in his life, and fell in with a rebellion against heaven in his death. Fun times!

The AU So Far:
He's Yusuke Fujimoto (western-style), and his parents moved to town when he was young (maybe two or three). His family's fairly well-off, but his parents care more for appearances than they do their child. They want the perfect family, and anything less than that is Unacceptable. His parents never paid attention to him unless he's doing something wrong. Yusuke grew bitter and resentful, and he's been lashing out. His grades have begun slipping, and he's been getting into more and more trouble lately. He's currently in the final year of his senior cycle.

Beyond that, I'd really love to make more connections for this AU life. Teachers, friends? Enemies? Kids he might have beaten up in school? Talk with me, let's work something out.

I can't help seeing parallels between Katou's AU family life and Gladion's canon one. I don't honestly have a clue what to do with that, particularly since Gladion's still in the lower cycle, but there might be some kind of CR opportunity there.

Kaltz | Lamento

Hi, I'm Heron, playing Kaltz. He's very kind, but also an incredibly depressing person to hang around - AU him is a hundred times better about that, though. I don't have a lot worked out for an AU yet but here's what I've got so far.

What I'm sure of: He's a florist. He's also an incredibly doting father in a relatively happy family (he'll very likely still play a father role to any AU kids after Awakening, because he wouldn't be able to help himself). He's prooobably lived in Eddan his entire life, though I'm willing to shift this around to accommodate other AUs if needed. He's still the quiet introverted type, but he's a lot happier and more satisfied with his life.

To be determined: AU name. Whether anyone in the AU is his spouse or child - also friends and the like. I would REALLY like for at least 1 other character to be AU'd as his kid, and that's part of why I'm holding off on name decisions. Details and etc.

Gladion's AU will very easily accept a doting father, so I'd be totally cool with that (I'll have to check to make sure that's also okay with Gladion's not-really-brother once he's accepted). Or if not, maybe he could be a friend of Gladion's parents or something and they know each other that way.

Lenka Utsugi (God Eater)

Heya all, I'm Fyre and I'll be bringing Lenka Utsugi from the anime offshoot of the God Eater franchise. I've updated his AU history a little bit from the pre-game planning meme but the bulk of the outline is the same. Details are flexible depending on plotting, really.

Quick(?) Recap:

• Alias Haruka Sorazawa (all names in western order for less confusion...!)
• 15 years old, 1st year of senior cycle at Green Valley
• Seems unapproachable, but really just quiet and prone to doing his own thing. If you need help, he'll generally try, even if you're a stranger.
• Moved here early in grade school; he's an only child and his family is loving but on the poorer side, so his parents tend to work a lot to make ends meet. For the most part, he's been understanding about this, but there's been a little more friction lately after he learned he was adopted. They live in a busy apartment complex.
• As of pre-TDM plotting, long-time friends and neighbors with a certain Mishina Eikichi.
• An officer at the school's gardening club, which presumably takes care of the greenhouses and helps with the school grounds (I'm winging it here, don't mind me). He's especially fond of flowers of all kinds, and can often be found at school for club activities outside of class hours. The club also has the unenviable task of delivering flower valentines on Valentine's Day.
• Low key and hardworking with excellent grades, since he's a sponsored attendee; however, he has a long history of getting into trouble occasionally for stepping into other people's fights if he sees bullying or other issues. May have gotten on the bad side of a teacher or two if they treated their students unfairly. Generally a rule-follower until the rules stop working.
• Probably has a part-time job to help with the bills, though I haven't decided exactly what he'd do. Maybe just odd jobs around the school or the city, he can do either manual labor or finer work. Maybe as a delivery boy?
• For various reasons, he really likes exploring any abandoned or remote places in or around the city. Sometimes breaks curfew to do so, and is relatively sneaky about it. Still, it's possible to run into him in weird places.

AU CR is my quest, guys. Friends! Rivals! Enemies! (It's hard to become enemies with him but I'm sure it could happen.) Classmates! Apartment complex neighbors! Gardening club members! Job buddies, curfew breaking buddies, together-they-survived-fighting-off-some-bullies-one-time, study partners... Come to me and we'll make it work. ☆ Pre-TDM planning meme buds, let's hash out where we might want to go down the road!

Quiet and likes exploring abandoned places? Sounds like Chikusa's kind of person.

Although mainly what caught my attention was him in the gardening club! "Ciro" has plans to major in botany once he reaches and finishes his senior cycle, so he'd definitely be hanging around the greenhouse and probably just get absorbed into the gardening club (possibly by Haruka?) just from being around there so much ha ha. And work from there?

(Although he's also being a bit bullied by Yuri P since that bears mentioning considering)

Pharos | Persona 3

Hello everybody! I am Bookie and I have Pharos from Persona 3 and I am VERY EXCITED. Pharos is a small creepy child who is also the Shadow of the Thirteenth Arcana, aka Death. He is going to be very confused about all of this. Also his social skills are a bit, uh... lacking for a better word. It's ok to call the 16 year old girl whose body you're kind of chilling out in 'my dearest,' right?

I don't have much plotted out at the moment, other than 'Akira' yes he stole the p5 mc's name LOOK THAT GUY STARTED IT HE STOLE HIS PRISON PAJAMAS is a primary school student who is pretty weird but not quite as prone to talking about death as Pharos. He has a big brother (Shinjiro, assuming that's all still good) but otherwise pretty much a clean slate. Anyone want this kid? It'll be fuuun!

I don't think Gladion ("Asher") would have much reason to hang out with younger kids, though I do have as part of his AU personality that he'll step in if he sees someone being picked on. So if you want to say the met because some older kid was bothering Akira at some point and Asher did something about it, I would be up for it.

Cagliostro | Granblue "Tiamat Won't Drop Any Guns" Fantasy

Firstly: I'm assuming anything from the TDM is on, and I would LOVE to make all the interactions canon (we can handwave them happening once the game opens, whenever convenient), so if you'd like to change something/ask that we retcon the TDM threads, please go ahead and inform me!

Anyway, a general gist: Cagliostro is a straight-A bookwork taking a pure Chemistry degree and absolutely killing it in school, winning trophies, etc. She's on her last year in Green Valley and set to graduate. However, she's also got a weak body and coughs up a fucking lung now and then, which prevents her from being the inventor and discoverer she's sure she actually is, and that pisses her off to no end.

Her AU name is Ryann Goodenough. I am reeling at the fact that Goodenough is an actual surname, and that people name girls Ryann. She hates it. After her awakening, she'll likely be asked to be called 'Cag' instead, which you can butcher into 'Hag'. (She'll feed you to her snakes, though.)

I'm looking for all CR. People who bully her. People who she bullies. Her lab partners. Her harassed teachers, trying to save her shoddy attendance record because she only comes to school on days with practical lab sessions.

Hi all, my name's Gray and I'm bringing one of the Marchosias pack, Okuyasu Nijimura!

I'm not sure what all from the TDM I'll be keeping, since. A cold made me Die a Death and thread drop everyone, I'm so sorry.

What I do know is that Isamu [lastname] is going to have a roughly average family life, middling grades in school, where he's a 2nd year in the senior cycle, and he's probably into some kind of sport. Not sure which, but it feels right. The middling grades, of course, are not so much due to a lack of intelligence, as a lack of interest. Isamu's more into [sportnamehere] and video games, and sees school as a way to fuel get access to them.

AUCR wise, I'm looking for teammates, family members (parental or sibling! AU family members would help him deal with his horrible canon family issues that never really get addressed), that guy who has the locker next to his, people who live in the same apartment complex, friends of his (npc?) siblings, someone who has the unfortunate lot in life of sitting behind him in class...

Post AU, he's going to need a tutor.

Hi again everyone, I'm Waku, and I bring you Elizabeth Bathory. Yes, Elizabeth Bathory the serial killer. But due to weird time stuff, she is in a state of existence where she both is and isn't a serial killer and there is basically no way to make sense of her franchise, okay.

Anyways! Relevant pre-planning from the TDM will hopefully still apply, which basically amounts to:
-Age 14, with her placed in Lower 3 for Green Valley
-Child from a wealthy family. Struggling to live up to the unreasonable expectations of her family.
-Tends to be in a constant state of stressed and overworked as a result.
-Pre-existing connections to Cagliostro and Koujiro were discussed in the TDM Pre-planning. If there are no objections, those presumably still apply.

Anyways! I'm giving her the AU name of Isabella because why not have a different language's equivalent of the same name? Still undecided on the surname, though.

as another side note, i'm not familiar with persona besides what's on the write-up for this game, so if i fuck up with the details just let me know.

persona life: dio is a 3rd year senior student and he goes by the name amadeo magnifico. he's a rugby jock and in general he's super nice and polite? girls love him. his team loves him. he's studying his ass off so he can be a great big lawyer someday.

on the other side, he's a delinquent who likes doing terrible things to people short of murdering someone. please see his info!!

au life: au family members who think dio is great or not great, i'm not really looking to replicate phantom blood here. basically anyone in his social life who dio's either gonna be super well-acquainted with or will bully. i'm up for negative and positive. what i'm not looking for is anyone to convert him to goodness or whatever. he's gonna be a two-faced dick. but if you've ever wondered what it's like to have a good dio friend, now is the time, because i took him from the canon point in phantom blood where he actually cares about saving face.

post-au: i haven't got anything set in stone, but dio will definitely be using his powers against people just to see how and what he can get away with, making allies, wanting to become powerful. the level of two-facedness he's gonna have will greatly depend on the amount of people he surrounds him with and how good that cr is, so until that's established, i don't see him doing anything ''''big''''.

Hello everyone, I am Matt and I am bringing you Makoto Fukami from Kamen Rider Ghost, because apparently I can't not play a toku character for long. I may have a Problem. I'm still hashing out things for AU, so let's talk together and see if we can figure something out!

What I know:

- Has NPC friends named Allen and... whatever I decide Takeru's equivalent name is. Allen is from a wealthy family and Takeru-equivalent's family run a shrine.
- Has a little sibling, though whether it's a sister or brother depends if anyone wants to jump in that spot!
- He is not good at school. Somehow he managed to get through to where he is now, though.
- MARTIAL ARTS MARTIAL ARTS MARTIAL ARTS.

What I don't know:

- AU name. Names are hard. :|
- Whether his dad should be around or not - canonically he's not, he got raised by Takeru's dad for a while. (Before he and his sister got kidnapped to the Ganma world, at least.)
- If there are any other siblings - which can totally happen if anyone wants to jump on this crazy train!

Hey!! I'm quin and I have the smaller Yuri from that one figure skating anime. For his AU name, I'll be going with Yuri Hugo. you have no fucking idea how long i battled with the idea of using "george" for a truly atrocious AU name. You can grab me at thermonuclear if you prefer plurk.

The AU so far:
- 15 yr old student at Green Valley in his first year of the senior cycle. He's been a student there his whole life and he hates the uniforms so much. He has so many cool clothes he wants to actually wear??
- He's been on a few different school sports teams (soccer, hockey, track, baseball) over the years just to try them out. But he's an awful team player. You know that one talented, too honest jackass who thinks he's the MVP?? That's Yuri. He stuck with track the longest, but he quit all his other teams after being benched a couple times. Ain't got no time for that. He's not currently involved with any team.
- His grades are ridiculous. While he doesn't overachieve to the point where he's particularly noticeable in a school full of geniuses, he definitely aims for flawless report cards.
- Yuri's mother raised him alone for most of his life. They were never well off until she married his (current) stepfather a few years ago. There has been a lot of conflict over stepdads but he's mostly OK with this guy.
- Started counseling with the school (with Yuuri!) around the time his birth parents divorced, so early elementary school. Ended up sticking with it because he's a general troublemaker. He doesn't mind it much anymore. This is his most embarrassing secret.
- Though he typically doesn't seek other people out, he has a reputation for being an asshole bully. Mostly because of his temper, complete lack of a filter, and tendency to try and physically intimidate people when he's pissed. Too bad Yuri you're too tiny for that to work. He's definitely more hostile with other boys!

I love the AU aspect of all this so I'm interested in all kinds of CR, tho no family at the moment. Negative CR is very fun (and kind of simple to get with such a temperamental character lbr) but it'd be nice to hash out something positive too! So-- classmates, teachers, ex-teammates, loyal friends, sworn enemies, whatever it is, I'd love to work something out!

Hey there, everyone! I'm James (trilies on plurk, hit me up), and I'm bringing in the garbage child known as Chikusa from Katekyo Hitman Reborn! tl;dr - child experiment to a fallen Mafia Family, only one of three survivors after one murdered the whole Family, and then all three decided the world deserve to burn. As you do.

But that's not important, because AU things!

Established AU stuff
- AU name is Ciro Bonavita
- 15 years old, but still in the lower cycle
- Living away from his family in the school dorms
- Has consistently good grades and sometimes tutors other students if they ask
- Seeing school counselor Yuuri Katsuki for his depression and anxiety
- Being mildly bullied by Yuri Plisetsky
- Encouraged to bike and so often does that around the city when he has to get around
- Hoping to major in engineering and botany in the future

Hey all! I'm Cro, I'll be bringing a weirdo with me. This is Yuuto Kidou, from Inazuma 11.
In his original canon:
he's a calculating, calm tactician who is a master soccer player and soccer batman. Kidou has a strong sense of justice and doing the right thing, which comes into conflict with having been essentially raised by the big bad of the series. A lot. He is not an okay kid.
He talks to himself in his head more than he talks to anyone, ever and basically sees himself as a useful cog in a machine. He looks at things with a laser focus and cuts out anything that isn't as important. Essentially, the goggles he's known for shape his worldview, and are ... without spoiling too much, they are very important to him and his sense of who he is.

His AU self is Michi Yamashita, who has never met anyone like Kageyama so he doesn't have the cold, calculating ruthless side drilled into him. There's only what he would have been underneath that - he's loyal, fiercely protective of those who he sees as his own, fights for those who can't fight for themselves even if he himself can't fight, is a warm and loving person. He'll be the shounen protagonist Kidou never got to be, though he's more on the gentle side of the spectrum. Like Yuuto, he'll be totally willing to take charge of things if he needs to.

He has not found his place in the world. He'll try every elective he can, learn any skill to a passable level while mastering nothing, join anywhere he's asked to (but he won't stay long) and he doesn't have many long-term friends. Due to his willingness to pitch in anywhere, Michi is fairly popular in his grade; feel free to have your character know who he is. He's got a nickname of Try-Everything Michiking that he got in the test drive that I want to keep.

He's like the wind; untethered to anything and drifting along life without much purpose or ambition. It's very easy to tell him that there's something missing from his life, though until now it was very much just teenage weirdness.

AU TL;DR of what I know
- 14 years old, second year of lower cycle.
- does not have goggles as his AU self, and this is going to cause him a lot of grief when he awakens
- if you're his age range, and are in an elective or club, he's probably met you at some point
- has a black and white cat named Penguin
- has never played soccer
- While I'm going to randomize his family/otherwise look for AU family, his last name has to be Yamashita. His canon relies on blatant puns, references, or explanations on who a character is written right into their name, and Michi Yamashita is no exception.

Gladion ("Asher") is 14 but in the third year. With regard to extracurricular stuff, I currently am looking at him having been taking martial arts classes at the dojo where Mako works, so if Michi ever did that, maybe they'd have met each other that way.

Jaune Arc | RWBY

Hey all! I'm Erica and I bring with me Jaune Arc from the internet sensation RWBY. He is from season 4 and to keep it short he attended an elite school to learn to fight monsters, he cheated to get in but has leveled up some and is actually a decent sword fighter now, school was attacked and in the attack he lost a teammate/girlfriend, and then he went on an epic journey with his friends to find out why the school was attacked.

Quick and Dirty
- John Miles, age 18, First Year Higher Level

- Probably has a reputation for being bullied when he was younger (occasionally still), now a member of Student Council (or similar organization), takes guitar lessons, part-time employee at family restaurant

- Has a pet rabbit, probably the only thing left from his farm days (though probably not the same rabbit...I just thought it would be cute if he had a pet)

Deets
- Lives with both parents and siblings (sisters as of now, but I would LOVE to adopt some people for familial CR purposes and would be willing to give him a bro...that is also why I am being vague on numbers)
- Originally from a nearby rural area where his family had a farm -- they moved to the city when Jaune was still young (early elementary, haven't settled on an age)
- Family now owns a restaurant, Jaune helps there occasionally. I will come up with a name eventually so if anyone wants to work with Jaune let me know. (Restaurant is tentatively a Creole/Cajun food with a cafe kind of feel. Possibly calling it "The Blue French Horn" or "Blues" for short. Would offer a venue for people to play music at -- encourages 'jazz' especially)
- Currently he is a first year Higher Level student
- Decent grades, excels at Mythology, History, and English classes. Unfortunately he has NO idea what he wants to "do" with his life and this is starting to cause a bit of a crisis. He will offer tutoring in these subjects as needed.
- I know for sure he has established friendships with Lenka and Mako -- if there is someone I forgot (cause I have talked with a lot of you) let me know so I can have a list of that and we can work out some details now!

Yes, I'm talking about Dante's electrical Devil Arm from 1, though he's a bit more than that...of course, here he'll just be a regular human by the name of Xane Daimon. Which is Greek for, roughly, 'demonic protector of men', because I'm awful and it's more fitting than he wants to admit.

What I'm Solid On:
- He's an actor, fairly popular thanks to his good looks, smooth voice and good PR
- He's got a reputation for philanthropy, both in the form of charity donations and volunteer services
- He tends to play antagonists in movies, leading to jokes about how he's a villain on the big screen but a hero in real life
- His family is originally from Greece, but he was born in Edan
- He's 22 years old, and is a first year student in the advanced cycle with a private tutor so he doesn't have to miss lessons during filming

What I Don't Know:
- Family! I have nothing settled about his parents, and I'm open to siblings too
- Classmates, who have probably discovered the hard way that he's easily bored
- Professional connections, including fellow actors. I'm especially looking for an agent, ideally someone who'll reign in his impulsive 'heroics' and remind him to not, say, run off to grant a request from a sick/injured fan when he has homework. Bonus points if they get exasperated with his tendency to flirt with appropriately aged fans
- People he's met through said charity work he likes to do instead of his homework

In Canon: His life sucks big time. Neglect, bullies, manipulation, brainwashing, revenge, fighting Nazis, the works. Don't let Lovecraftian horrors babysit your kids. As a result of this whole mess, Jun is a mess of issues! Hates himself, doesn't believe he deserves nice things, unfailingly kind, extremely intelligent.

In AU: He's been through none of that! I'm pretty malleable to just about anything, honestly, I haven't even settled on an AU name for him. Might go for a random family, because I'd love for him to have an AU sibling, for Reasons. Any immediate family members/close friends will get front row seats to Jun's ball of Issues. Here's what I do know:
- He basically has a charmed life. Popular, stellar grades, mildly to quite wealthy family, parents love him, star of some team spot (thinking basketball or soccer).
- Final year of the senior cycle or first year of the higher cycle.
- Cheery, playful, not dating with anyone but will lightly tease just about anyone
- Seriously, I'd love for him to have a sibling. Two siblings? Three? Might random him. Family.
- Please be his friend/teammate/person who sits behind him in class/rival/i will take anything

SO SINCE WE OBVIOUSLY HAVE A LOT OF STUDENTS and at least some of them must be dorming, let's see who is up on the list! Let's figure out neighbors, roommates, who lives right next to the elevator and has to deal with loud partiers coming in late a night!

Chikusa is currently dorming himself, and has been for a good few years now! (Probably since the start of his lower cycle, in fact.) Past roomies and current roomies are both welcome.

He probably prefers one of the higher floors, and the good news for any potential roomies is that he's clean enough for both of you. (Expect that to deteriorate maaaaybe slightly when he awakens, for reasons.) He's also learned to become a decent cook in the last year, so good news on that front.

Also, there's totally a Xane Daimon poster in his room and listen shut up.
