WELCOME TO THE FIRST PLANNING POST!

Congratulations on being accepted into the game. Now let's have a big meeting post, plan and have fun together!

AU PLANNING

The AU in this game is completely player's choice. We encourage you to take a look at the city and plan accordingly! Your AU information can be added to your character hub, should you desire. As long as it is available somewhere, and others can take a quick glance and know what the character's AU is.

We only ask that you try to keep everything tasteful and respect our decision if we feel you're going too far. As the game begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods first-post related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner!

The city of Eddan is very much a typical metropolis, so your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job. If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

There is also a randomized AU signup if you'd like to leave it to chance who your family members are and establish pre-game CR with new people. But if you'd rather leave it for now and wait for other app turns, that's also fine!

ARRIVAL

The first log for the 2nd round will be posted on JUNE 17TH. Please vote on what time you want it to be posted. We'll go with player majority! (As a note, this will be done for all rounds).

Don't give him that challenge, he'd take it seriously! Even if it meant eating dirt a dozen times or more until he could pull it off! (But he doesn't want your title, Guts! Being captain's nice and all, but he doesn't need it as long as he can run~!)

Their height difference is killing me. Like, Kouyuki/Fubuki's only 4'9" and Guts is like...what, 6'6" or so? And their personalities are just as sharp a contrast. (Those grumpy giant types like Guts are the sort of people Fubuki gets along with best, though.)

Edit: How old is Guts, though? Since that'll likely play a role in whether or not they're on the same team. Kouyuki's 2nd year lower cycle.

gUTS IS 6'8

He's 24 actually and in the highest cycle in school (soon he will graduate). And honestly bc Eddens team comps r UP TO US. i was just sort of going with the Track and Feels team being a multi-grade thing, but if you want them to be on seperate teams, thats also cool.

Not to worry, he'd never voice that aloud. 95% of Kidou's snark or less helpful commentary is safely lodged in his head for his own internal monologue only.

(Like Sakuma he'll also be taking notes/has been already; he and Sakuma are very close in canon and collaborate on stuff.)

But yes - post-awakening reveals a LOT of reason for wanting to investigate, and a club provides a great cover to be writing down things about everyone and everywhere.

Clearly it's been too long since I read Berserk... But what a beast! Nearly two feet taller, exactly! That'll make for some A+ hilarity.

And honestly, I have no preference for how the teams are handled! I was just under the impression that they'd be separated by age group/school level. Like, they'd all still part of the GV team technically, but different age groups and such would compete against those in their own range since it'd be kind of nuts to have elementary-level kids competing against high school, or high school against college-aged students, etc.

So like, maybe Guts could volunteer as a trainer for the younger groups? Since he'd have a lot of experience to share at 24!

Ah that makes sense (thats a pretty good system i didn't give it much thought). Yeah that seems like it would work, since Guts is the captain, he probably has to move between teams to check up and do exercises even if they don't exactly race against eachother. Maybe Fubuki is a sub-captain for his grade level bringing his one sided rivalry to new heights?

How about former track team after she buckled down on her courses? Natural sciences is like a shitton of classes.

I haven't actually decided on a position on the team itself. I figured Kouyuki/Fubuki would just be happy to run.

That said, if he was voted into position as captain of his age group, he'd respectfully accept it, but mostly he doesn't really care a great deal about that title. It doesn't mean anything to him personally beyond the job of looking after a bunch of people being obligatory rather than something he can do just to be nice. As long as he's known as the fastest, that's all that matters to him. And if that title slips out of reach, he'll bust his ass to try and earn it back. (And have fun doing it, too. Because healthy competition is good for the soul.)

In any case, it's not hard to get him competing! So there's really no need to amp it up. As long as Guts remains a student, he'll have an ice woof nipping at his heels to keep up.

That works, 2B is a solider by design so i imagine she'd have something or another to say to guts.

Currently this is a two man operation made up of Alucard and Sion. Alucard plays the electric guitar and Sion the violin. If you play other instruments and/or can make lyrics, they are welcoming new people!

Adrian is a history student in the Advanced Cycle, 23 years old, going for a master's degree in history. I'm not sure where they'd meet beforehand unless Adrian has either eaten at the cafe or Sein runs into Adrian playing his electric guitar outside.
