The AU in this game is completely player's choice. We encourage you to take a look at the city and plan accordingly! Your AU information can be added to your character hub, should you desire. As long as it is available somewhere, and others can take a quick glance and know what the character's AU is.
We only ask that you try to keep everything tasteful and respect our decision if we feel you're going too far. As the game begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods first-post related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner!

There is also a randomized AU signup if you'd like to leave it to chance who your family members are and establish pre-game CR with new people. But if you'd rather leave it for now and wait for other app turns, that's also fine!

AU Info:
- His last name will still be Cruz, but his first name will be Sein (Basque/Spanish for "innocent" ha ha).
- Recent high school graduate from out of town, "returning" to help his parents run their bakery/cafe Creciente.
- Quiet, shy, bookworm type. Total video game nerd, too.
- Born albino, completely self-conscious about it.
- Requires high levels of caffeine to function in social situations. Constantly drinking hazelnut mochaccinos.
- Deceptively strong for an apparent nerd = attributed to fencing and freerunning classes to keep in shape.
- Loves animals. Seriously, do not hurt an animal in front of him. Feeds strays behind the bakery, owns two cats and a Samoyed.
OU Info:
- Soma Cruz is the reincarnation of Dracula. Carries memories of multiple incarnations and occasionally their skills, which makes him fluent in several languages. Tends to slip into past life memories when highly stressed or triggered.
- Pseudo-vampire. Fangs come out when in bloodlust or stressed. Does not require blood but craves the taste of it and the act of biting thanks to memories and altered physiology.
- HATES what he is but will use his power to help people whenever he can, even at great personal risk. Not a death-seeker but definitely an atoner.
- Less socially awkward and shy than his AU form, but still introverted with unfamiliar people. Far more serious than AU form.

Jaune is 18 and in higher cycle (which, based on age range, I think might be the school's equivalent of college. Not sure how old you are making Soma, but they could have encountered each other before he moved and then came back? I'm game for whatever.

I mean, Jaune's is more of a restaurant/cafe and Soma's is more of a bakery--so it's not like they have the EXACT SAME RESTAURANT.
Also rivalry isn't really Jaune's thing...I was just making a joke XDb But I'm glad someone else is bringing food service options here <3

And yeah I figured it was playful! I could almost see them having "memories" of sharing their respective shops' specialties at high school: Soma brings one of his chocolate-almond croissants for Jaune, Jaune brings one of his favorites for Soma.
Yeeeeah enjoy that, it's always fun to see how people play their characters reacting to a bite. Shock, pain, pleasure....no subject

(I do worry that Soma might be a bad influence on Jaune in at least one way: he tends to swear in Spanish and I wonder if your blondie might pick it up from hanging out with him. XD)

Maybe they can run into each other through fencing classes? Otherwise, Sion is about as addicted to caffeine as Soma is, but only so he can avoid sleeping unless absolutely necessary. I imagine that in the AU, these two have likely crossed paths in the coffee shop from time to time!

Meeting at either location is a good idea! If Sion goes to his family's cafe, he might end up getting freebies now and then once they become casually friendly.

TL;DR Sion is the incarnation of a God of Destruction (as pictured above) *~*~destined*~*~, quite naturally, to destroy the world and life as humans know it.
SO ... he gets it. And there will be shoulder pats and hugs and wow, Sion should bleed his gold

Oh, and I just looked at Sion's Persona... they're weak to each other's elements. Soma is Dark. Hopefully they never have to fight each other!
