WELCOME TO THE FIRST PLANNING POST!

Congratulations on being accepted into the game. Now let's have a big meeting post, plan and have fun together!

AU PLANNING

The AU in this game is completely player's choice. We encourage you to take a look at the city and plan accordingly! Your AU information can be added to your character hub, should you desire. As long as it is available somewhere, and others can take a quick glance and know what the character's AU is.

We only ask that you try to keep everything tasteful and respect our decision if we feel you're going too far. As the game begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods first-post related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner!

The city of Eddan is very much a typical metropolis, so your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job. If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

There is also a randomized AU signup if you'd like to leave it to chance who your family members are and establish pre-game CR with new people. But if you'd rather leave it for now and wait for other app turns, that's also fine!

ARRIVAL

The first log for the 2nd round will be posted on JUNE 17TH. Please vote on what time you want it to be posted. We'll go with player majority! (As a note, this will be done for all rounds).

Usagi here is going to be named Serena because it amuses me to recycle her 90s dub name for this purpose. If she doesn't end up in anyone else's family, her last name will still be Tsukino. And she'll probably have a pesky little brother and a dad who works for the newspaper paper and a mom that teaches kindergarten.

Unless she ends up in someone else's family. Which I'm totally cool with, so hit me up?

She's a ninth-grader and still the silly, gluttonous flake we know and love. Do we have a manga drawing club? Because she's probably in the manga drawing club.

I'm so glad to see an Usagi out and about and more importantly I keep laughing that her name is Serena, that's truly beautiful.

Anyway I'm Fyre hello! And this here is Lenka from the God Eater anime series, alias Haruka Sorazawa in Recursion! He's a pretty quiet kid who's around Serena's age and I have a writeup for his Recursion history here. I have him down as an only child but I was wondering if you'd be down for them being cousins! I'm thinking it would be cute and kind of hilarious CR given they're pretty much polar opposites. /o/

I haven't pinned down a lot of specifics about his family beyond their general circumstances for more flexibility! So! I'm flexible! Depends on what your thoughts are wrt Serena's family, if you're going with what you described up there, and the relationship between whichever parents they have as siblings. :3c

What are your thoughts for how long her family has been in Eddan, by the way? I figure the Sorazawas immigrated here when Lenka was fairly little, but with Serena's family it can really be any length of time (they could be natives too). That'll give us some idea of how long they've really known each other. /o/

I'm thinking maybe on her dad's side, since he's got the darker hair? Maybe his mom is her dad's sister. We're going with Ken Tsukino for him. (The Ken is probably short for Kenji but he goes by Ken because it's more Eddan-ish.) He works for the newspaper. I kind of like the idea that Serena's parents/family moved to Eddan first?

On her dad's side it is! Hahah, Eddanish Ken seems about right, and I haven't even decided his parents' names oops I'll have a think about that. But Serena's family moving in first and then more family following seems about par for the course on families immigrating in general. :3c Haruka/Lenka here is living in an apartment complex about a short subway ride away from Green Valley (code for: his apartment is floating in nebulous geographical space because I haven't pinned down where exactly it is), think Serena would've lived nearby so they could be playmates as kids? |3

Older cousin! Cute. The age range puts them on the same campus, too, so I'd imagine they see a good deal of each other in day-to-day life. |D

Harley is slightly more patient. So you can think of their relationship like a cross between Serena and (original anime)Rei/Ami. That's what it would be like.
