WELCOME TO THE FIRST PLANNING POST!

Congratulations on being accepted into the game. Now let's have a big meeting post, plan and have fun together!

AU PLANNING

The AU in this game is completely player's choice. We encourage you to take a look at the city and plan accordingly! Your AU information can be added to your character hub, should you desire. As long as it is available somewhere, and others can take a quick glance and know what the character's AU is.

We only ask that you try to keep everything tasteful and respect our decision if we feel you're going too far. As the game begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods first-post related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner!

The city of Eddan is very much a typical metropolis, so your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job. If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

There is also a randomized AU signup if you'd like to leave it to chance who your family members are and establish pre-game CR with new people. But if you'd rather leave it for now and wait for other app turns, that's also fine!

ARRIVAL

The first log for the 2nd round will be posted on JUNE 17TH. Please vote on what time you want it to be posted. We'll go with player majority! (As a note, this will be done for all rounds).

I'd like Ran to be on track (and field?) Thinking she'd probably do hurdles and javelin.

Javelin is awesome can I just say. What year is Ran in?

It is! Plus Ran throwing something like that is just an awesome image.

Ran's 17, so she's in the middle (end?) of senior cycle.

Kouyuki specializes in high jump and sprint racing (I haven't decided which meter yet) but he'd probably have an interest in hurdles for that reason, too.

Ran's older, I think? So they probably won't run in the same events, but as a member of the team with similar specialties, maybe they could know each other and offer tips back and forth?

He's 14, so he's 2nd year Lower Cycle but determined not to let that define him when it comes to sports. Work hard, play hard and all that. How often will Ran train outside of scheduled practice hours?

Good question! I imagine a reasonable amount. She's a karate champion in her canon, which I'm sure has taken a lot of work; I'd imagine she'd approach this with similar focus.

So in other words, time to run across people. :)

Kouyuki will really appreciate hanging around someone who has a similar amount of focus on the sport as him. Is she involved in any other activities or clubs at the school?

Not sure yet, honestly. She'll have a part-time job with her mother's shop, so between that and track and schoolwork, I imagine she'll keep fairly busy. But I think she'll hang around the gardening club and I was talking below about maybe luring her into the cooking club.
