The AU in this game is completely player's choice. We encourage you to take a look at the city and plan accordingly! Your AU information can be added to your character hub, should you desire. As long as it is available somewhere, and others can take a quick glance and know what the character's AU is.
We only ask that you try to keep everything tasteful and respect our decision if we feel you're going too far. As the game begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods first-post related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner!
The city of Eddan is very much a typical metropolis, so your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job. If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

There is also a randomized AU signup if you'd like to leave it to chance who your family members are and establish pre-game CR with new people. But if you'd rather leave it for now and wait for other app turns, that's also fine!

Looking at his AU, they're both orphans so they should understand each other a little in that regard even if they don't generally bring it up. As for taking care of your younger bro I am all here for that! Zero's got a dead twin younger brother canonly so he's going to freak out when he finds that out but that also means he's going to be uncharacteristically curious/open to seeing bro dynamics.

maybe he'd asked zero to watch yoshio while he was doing something at school i.e. playing sports, studying in the library? he wouldn't leave yoshio alone with someone for too long because of protective older brother instincts, but i think he'd trust zero with yoshio for a few hours if that's cool!

......... ._. He would? Even without his canon memories Zero is attached to family, he's a big brother type okay, so being asked for something like this (however small it may seem) he'll take it to heart. So, don't you worry about a thing, he'll make sure nothing happens to Yoshi!

On my end, I though you meant Mako would tell Zero from time to time to keep an eye on his brother while he's busy with school stuff. Nothing like interfering just make sure he doesn't do anything stupid.
