WELCOME TO THE FIRST PLANNING POST!

Congratulations on being accepted into the game. Now let's have a big meeting post, plan and have fun together!

AU PLANNING

The AU in this game is completely player's choice. We encourage you to take a look at the city and plan accordingly! Your AU information can be added to your character hub, should you desire. As long as it is available somewhere, and others can take a quick glance and know what the character's AU is.

We only ask that you try to keep everything tasteful and respect our decision if we feel you're going too far. As the game begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods first-post related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner!

The city of Eddan is very much a typical metropolis, so your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job. If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

There is also a randomized AU signup if you'd like to leave it to chance who your family members are and establish pre-game CR with new people. But if you'd rather leave it for now and wait for other app turns, that's also fine!

The first log will be posted on MAY 13TH. Please vote on what time you want it to be posted. We'll go with player majority! (As a note, this will be done for all rounds).

So far: Kyoko and Michi/Kidou are cousins. Kyoko is taken in by this family after the loss of her parents. Now, in canon, Kidou's adopted/lost his parents early on. I wouldn't mind making Michi also adopted if that's easier? But I'm good with whatever works. As is this is already a weird family.

Also I should mention this guy is very loyal to family and that'll cause some wonderful drama. It did with Kageyama, and he wasn't even a relative.

The academic angle should definitely give them some common ground to start with! And since he has a motorcycle? That's probably going to catch Michelle's eye, even if she can't fully articulate why. Maybe it's because she finds them intriguing and certainly not because her canon self used to ride one

That and the lit club probably means Michelle is at least receptive and academically friendly towards him.

I don't think Alucard will have a poster, but he probably does enjoy a few of Xane's roles. So y!

The Blue French Horn - Cafe

Cajun/Creole/New Orleans-style restaurant.
Looking for possible employees, owned by Mrs. Miles (mother to Jaune and Hotaru -- they work there too part time).
Serves things like beignets, po'boys, jambalaya, red beans and rice, gumbo, etc.
Allows for musicians to play -- they have a small stage, though if there isn't live music expect jazz or blues.
Famous for its blue french horn over the stage -- sometimes referred to as "The Blues Cafe" by locals as shorthand

He's trying okay. It would defeat the purpose of being vague about where he lives if he ends up having one or both of his friends stalking him to figure it out why he shows up covered in bruises and scratches one day when he was meant to be going straight home.

So I'm going to go with they met in the literature club and then eventually figured out they were both nerds and Jaune wound up playing D&D and got hooked and the rest is history?

i'm ok with keeping dio the adopted one!

and loyalty is fine. dio wouldn't want anything from this family since circumstances are different, and nobody is going to get murdered in this family, etc etc., but he's certainly not the type to care for his siblings/family. maybe his mother, but he never brings her up because he wants to keep that knowledge from people. at best he'll be polite and/or indifferent, at worst he'll be a bully.

let's say that up to this point he hasn't done anything that can be seriously traumatizing, just a whole bunch of stuff that can be stressful to 14yo. how's that sound? 8Ia

That sounds perfect! So Michi's family basically took in two kids, and Michi's left in the middle to handle this. He's taken on being a sibling seriously enough - he wants to be a good brother. He really does.

But then there's Dio, who's either mean or just apathetic to his existence (y/n? basically sounds like some standard asshole teenager stuff there. Ah, family drama.)

(I'm very good with keeping Michi not traumatized for now. He'll have enough of a time being Kidou. Let him have some happiness first.)

yes, dio would be both. kidou is free to notice that dio only takes notice of him whenever it's convenient for him, otherwise he pays him no attention at all. he is also very good at doing things that make it look like he's the more reasonable brother - so for example, in front of the family, dio would be the good elder brother and will kick up the charm a few notches, but as soon as that's done, he's probably back to sneering and shitting at the kid.

i'm good with no traumas for now too! dio has no reason to escalate things, so we'll keep it to general apathy and casual meanness.

With all these pretty boys coming by just to lounge, Nobu would definitely appreciate the people he's helping in the way he's supposed to. Which. Wow, that schedule. Are you sure you don't actually need to sleep here too?

Which of course will make things that much worse post-Awakening because Nobunaga definitely lives up to his nickname.

idk if any PCs are actually IN the soccer club yet, but the inazuma kids will be looking for it. there's definitely a team for at least the lower cycle kids, but i wouldn't be surprised if each cycle had its own branch. feel free to expand if you have ideas!!
