WELCOME TO THE FIRST PLANNING POST!

Congratulations on being accepted into the game. Now let's have a big meeting post, plan and have fun together!

AU PLANNING

The AU in this game is completely player's choice. We encourage you to take a look at the city and plan accordingly! Your AU information can be added to your character hub, should you desire. As long as it is available somewhere, and others can take a quick glance and know what the character's AU is.

We only ask that you try to keep everything tasteful and respect our decision if we feel you're going too far. As the game begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods first-post related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner!

The city of Eddan is very much a typical metropolis, so your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job. If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

There is also a randomized AU signup if you'd like to leave it to chance who your family members are and establish pre-game CR with new people. But if you'd rather leave it for now and wait for other app turns, that's also fine!

GAME START

The first log will be posted on MAY 13TH. Please vote on what time you want it to be posted. We'll go with player majority! (As a note, this will be done for all rounds).

Scene: the school mini-mall, a cafe with student-friendly prices, after school

Okuyasu is slurping something noisily from a straw, and definitely not sitting correctly in his seat. Chikusa is seated across from him, flicking through his lesson plans and with a laptop open. Finally, with a sigh, he puts everything down and makes eye contact with his fellow student. "So, I think I've found the main problem with why you're having so much trouble with your classes, and how we can fix it to make your grades better."

Immediately jerking up- and taking the straw with him, whups- Okuyasu asks, "What is it!?"

Pressing his hands against the table, Chikusa leans forward. "You keep getting into fights, missing class, and thus missing all the material."

"...Oh."

"Stop getting into fucking fights, Okuyasu."


i'm sorry i'm 100% canonblind in all the relevant ways and am 200% bullshitting and also this addresses none of the CR question but i had to write it

Never apologize, holy crap, I'm laughing.

This is about 500% accurate, and of course it addresses all necessary CR related issues.

Clearly they have at least one class together, possibly being a part of the Apartment Complex Mess together, and Chikusa is taking pity on someone who suddenly gained another personality. A personality from Japan in the 90s, with no actual steady schooling, due to traveling with his brother for most of his childhood.

A personality that needs to not flunk out of school because scholarships are a thing and also they need to keep on passing as normal.

I'm glad you approve. That last line hit me and I was like "time to drop this on some unsuspecting new game friend".

The Apartment Complex Mess Club will be a glorious group, and I look forward to it. But at least Okuyasu won't be alone in the "no steady schooling and another personality" club- Chikusa was a child experiment and basically ostracized from society early on because Reasons, so once he Awakens, he'll be struggling to bullshit everything too.

We should put up a top-level for everyone who's in the mess to meet and greet, even if only just to see if anyone is in the same floors of this nightmare.

I feel as though I should warn you, Okuyasu is very... in touch with his emotions.

If he decides he's your friend, there is no escape.
