WELCOME TO THE FIRST PLANNING POST!

Congratulations on being accepted into the game. Now let's have a big meeting post, plan and have fun together!

AU PLANNING

The AU in this game is completely player's choice. We encourage you to take a look at the city and plan accordingly! Your AU information can be added to your character hub, should you desire. As long as it is available somewhere, and others can take a quick glance and know what the character's AU is.

We only ask that you try to keep everything tasteful and respect our decision if we feel you're going too far. As the game begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods first-post related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner!

The city of Eddan is very much a typical metropolis, so your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job. If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

There is also a randomized AU signup if you'd like to leave it to chance who your family members are and establish pre-game CR with new people. But if you'd rather leave it for now and wait for other app turns, that's also fine!

The first log will be posted on MAY 13TH. Please vote on what time you want it to be posted. We'll go with player majority! (As a note, this will be done for all rounds).

Rosiel's AU life
- 26 years old
- shy and slightly awkward English teacher
- runs the literature club
- probably lives on campus as faculty in residence
- has a cat named Satan
- beautiful but eternally single

AU family
- estranged from his parents, no children (other than four-legged meowing ones) or significant other
- could be a sibling to a character of European descent if anyone is interested.

Content warning
- This character is a villain in canon.
- The canon is all sorts of f-ed up.
- Possible triggers: co-dependent family relationships, playing fast and loose with Judeo-Christian theology, cross-dressing and gender-bending.

This was pointed out to me for a potential AU relation (also it's really great to see Angel Sanctuary characters here). AU Kaltz is around 38-40, but it's still possible he has a much younger sibling (half if you want a different last name than Gutermuth (Derived from the Middle High German words guot meaning "good" and muot meaning "mind or spirit". It also means "good spirit, good cheer". It was a name for an optimistic person.), which was chosen for purely ironic purposes. This would result in the fun time of them being an old angel and a very young devil post-Awakening, at approximate opposite morality points.

At this point, Kaltz comes along with two children (Ankh and Gladion) - Gladion's player pointed this out to me, and I think Ankh's would be OK with it.

I love the way these two characters will be able to play off of one another after their Awakening... I'm so in!

If Kaltz is 38-40, I will age AU Rosiel (currenly thinking of "Morgan" as a first name) up to 28 so they would have more time to know each other before Kaltz left to go to university/live his life. We can have AU Rosiel be from a second marriage, to explain the age gap.

Since you mention being happy to see AS characters, I assume that you know what you're signing up for as Rosiel's sibling? If you're uncomfortable with the idea of an inappropriate attachment to an older sibling, I can try and tone it down until the Awakening...

AU Rosiel would be a great aunt/uncle (so many things to figure out about the AU! So little time!) to Ankh and Gladion I'm sure. There's nothing to indicate that he did anything but take good care of Katan when he was little.

That works for me! And actually helped me think about his AU - he would've attended a school of floral design for sure, and it's likely he either didn't complete university or got a degree in something and then changed paths... I'll have to think about that.

My memories of AS are old and a little fuzzy, but I definitely recall enough to remember that aspect of things - so yeah, not only does that not surprise me, I can totally work with that!

Awesome. Names for them will be Asher (Gladion) and Ariel (Ankh). (I'm still working on a first name for Kaltz.) His first name will be Casimir!

I think I'll stay with Morgan. It's gender-neutral enough.

Since Rosiel quite literally wears his sister's skin in canon, I decided that as an AU version Morgan will read as a woman in every day life, and never correct anyone, so Casimir will be the only one to know the truth: Beautiful aunt Morgan is actually a young man.

Want a devil who'll be an anti-villain who fails at actually being evil post-Awakening as a student? Either present if he teaches Advanced Cycle students, or former if not.

That sounds great! Since Rosiel will teach senior cycle mostly he could be an old student with whom he still has coffee sometimes.

Their post awakening relationship would be great! I'm glad to see so many devils in this game.

Not sure what level of the school you are teaching, but Jaune here is going to have English as one of his better subjects...not sure I'll have him in the literature club but that could be fun now that you mention it :3

Mostly senior cycle, but I'm sure we'd love to have students from all levels in the club!

I'm glad to be part of the family! I'll try to update my posts with details and visuals (day vs night, presenting female vs male) ASAP!

Aunt Morgan loves his older half-brother and his children very much. VERY very much. Maybe too much. While I assume this was all fine and dandy when they were little (kids are love sponges) now that they are close to and/or hitting puberty and understanding all about lines in the sand, they might start thinking that his love for them is excessive. And that his closeness to their father is just... a smidgen too close for comfort.

I'll try to be like Goldilocks and make sure things aren't too weird or not weird enough, just right. ;) Then tip everything over when Rosiel awakens to his full-fledged anxieties.

If there is anything in particular you want Gladion's aunt to know/act on, feel free to tell me so I can make sure it comes up in RP!

Sounds good to me. I can't come up with anything specific right now, but I'll let you know if I do. Asher is a pretty chill kid, so he might think the clinginess is kinda weird but probably won't be too bothered. (Gladion is a good bit less chill.)

I'm apparently signing my guy up for all kinds of problems, but. Kidou's AU self Michi is on a quest to basically have done everything, so it's entirely possible he's been in the literature club or could be now.

Thing is, in canon, Kidou's mentor was a villain. A really, really bad one, as in 'arranges accidents to kill or injure children in order to make his team win games' style villain. Kidou's got a very strong sense of justice and what is right, and he is a very not okay and not normal child. It would be interesting if someone he knew turned out to be evil, (and the normally well-adjusted Michi turns out to be a complete weirdo who comes off as a lot colder) given his issues with opposing evil and debating on what he can do.

Adults in inazuma 11 are basically awful or useless with very few exceptions. It'd only further that trend.

Come to lit club! I'm sure we can find a way to work in the villain angle... Morgan could be mentoring Michi at school, and then when Michi Awakens he realizes how pre-ordained his life is (or how drawn to evil he is? idk the canon), that even with a clean start he got himself into the same situation...

Or at least similar: While Rosiel is as unscrupulous as they come, he's a villain of circumstances, not a villain at heart.

When Michi realizes he's Kidou, basically yeah. His old mentor was the big bad of the series, and most of his arc involves dealing with that (poorly) or trying to find ways around it. He's not really drawn to evil except to stop it, but Kidou has the worst luck ever, of all time. He's the series chew toy.

It'll be interesting. Kidou's someone capable of accepting all kinds of people to work with them if he has to, provided they're not doing bad things. So a villain of circumstance would make things complicated. Kidou comes to an understanding/at least semi friendly working team with someone who was (but isn't anymore) in canon more than once.

Yes I do! Angels, cats and villains are my bread and butter in this RP. ;)

He might need that bit of parental guidance! Sion has a tendency to overwork himself to the point of neglecting to eat/sleep so gentle reminders to do both of those things would be appreciated. 8')

In turn, he'll look after Rosiel too!! They can stay up late-night with coffee and grade papers together. It'll be cute! o9 White hairs gotta stick together.

And Sion will likely stay by Rosiel's side even after Awakening. Sion is the incarnation of a God of Destruction ... so being friends with an Inorganic Angel wouldn't be the strangest thing??
