The AU in this game is completely player's choice. We encourage you to take a look at the city and plan accordingly! Your AU information can be added to your character hub, should you desire. As long as it is available somewhere, and others can take a quick glance and know what the character's AU is.
We only ask that you try to keep everything tasteful and respect our decision if we feel you're going too far. As the game begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods first-post related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner!

There is also a randomized AU signup if you'd like to leave it to chance who your family members are and establish pre-game CR with new people. But if you'd rather leave it for now and wait for other app turns, that's also fine!
GAME START
The first log will be posted on MAY 13TH. Please vote on what time you want it to be posted. We'll go with player majority! (As a note, this will be done for all rounds).
Lenka Utsugi (God Eater)
Quick(?) Recap:
• Alias Haruka Sorazawa (all names in western order for less confusion...!)
• 15 years old, 1st year of senior cycle at Green Valley
• Seems unapproachable, but really just quiet and prone to doing his own thing. If you need help, he'll generally try, even if you're a stranger.
• Moved here early in grade school; he's an only child and his family is loving but on the poorer side, so his parents tend to work a lot to make ends meet. For the most part, he's been understanding about this, but there's been a little more friction lately after he learned he was adopted. They live in a busy apartment complex.
• As of pre-TDM plotting, long-time friends and neighbors with a certain Mishina Eikichi.
• An officer at the school's gardening club, which presumably takes care of the greenhouses and helps with the school grounds (I'm winging it here, don't mind me). He's especially fond of flowers of all kinds, and can often be found at school for club activities outside of class hours. The club also has the unenviable task of delivering flower valentines on Valentine's Day.
• Low key and hardworking with excellent grades, since he's a sponsored attendee; however, he has a long history of getting into trouble occasionally for stepping into other people's fights if he sees bullying or other issues. May have gotten on the bad side of a teacher or two if they treated their students unfairly. Generally a rule-follower until the rules stop working.
• Probably has a part-time job to help with the bills, though I haven't decided exactly what he'd do. Maybe just odd jobs around the school or the city, he can do either manual labor or finer work. Maybe as a delivery boy?
• For various reasons, he really likes exploring any abandoned or remote places in or around the city. Sometimes breaks curfew to do so, and is relatively sneaky about it. Still, it's possible to run into him in weird places.
AU CR is my quest, guys. Friends! Rivals! Enemies! (It's hard to become enemies with him but I'm sure it could happen.) Classmates! Apartment complex neighbors! Gardening club members! Job buddies, curfew breaking buddies, together-they-survived-fighting-off-some-bullies-one-time, study partners... Come to me and we'll make it work. ☆ Pre-TDM planning meme buds, let's hash out where we might want to go down the road!

Although mainly what caught my attention was him in the gardening club! "Ciro" has plans to major in botany once he reaches and finishes his senior cycle, so he'd definitely be hanging around the greenhouse and probably just get absorbed into the gardening club (possibly by Haruka?) just from being around there so much ha ha. And work from there?
(Although he's also being a bit bullied by Yuri P since that bears mentioning considering)

I think we have a surprising amount of botany/plant-liking people in the game, actually, so gardening CR is totally going to be a real group thing. I could totally see Haruka spotting him there a couple times and just sort of assuming he's in the club already and one day the lurker gets handed a bag of fertilizer and a trowel and matter-of-factly instructed to check on the strawberries.
(Ahaha oh no Yurio! Well, if he ever encroaches on club activities or something I think Lenka would helpfully prod him away at least. Depends on how distressed his club member is.)

Time to start up the revolution in the greenhouse! But yes ha ha that sounds like the perfect start for their CR. And then later as they're washing their hands together, Chikusa just quietly mentions he wasn't part of the club.

Lenka would be embarrassed in his way but he'd totally roll with it, hey the guy didn't hate it and they always need more hands. Super quiet greenhouse revolution buds go! (That somehow turned into a plant pun without me noticing.)

Lenka would have been in the same cycle with him until last year, so I'm thinking they still would have seen some of each other since they would be on the same campus/subcampus! :D Interestingly enough, especially after Awakening, if it's someone he knows (and more so if they've stood up together in the past) going down the wrong path Lenka's more inclined to be understanding and/or try to work with them. (And also they'll have Shadows to deal with, so literally working with them!)
(Also I could swear we've played together before somewhere since your name sounds familiar but I think it was ages ago so I'm drawing a blank!)

Yeah it seems legit that they would have seen each other around even if they weren't in the same class. Especially if we go the bullies route since if someone was picking on Gladion somewhere out on campus it seems like it would have caught Lenka's attention.

Yes I am totally down for a bully brawl. Show 'em who's boss!! They could also probably run into each other now and again if Gladion does any extracurriculars before or after school, and whatnot. Like the type that mostly see each other and hang out occasionally at school, but not outside that. (And then Awakening Happens.)
(I'm super curious maybe we'll figure it out someday. DWRP is the smallest world.)

This sounds good to me! So far all I know for extracurriculars is that he does martial arts at the dojo Mako teaches at. That might not be the only thing, though, just the only one I've decided so far.

I decided Jaune's family owns a restaurant if you want to go that route with some of their CR or Lenka having a job? I still REALLY want them to be pre-established friends though even with the age difference.

And I bet they could have deliveries for the restaurant so maybe when Lenka started expressing interest in finding a job Jaune was like "well my fam owns a restaurant..."
I somehow doubt age difference will matter much to Jaune pre or post Awakening. He doesn't exactly act "oh so mature" and is generally going to be friendly in both pre and post.

Yeah I'm thinking maybe I will just have him do deliveries for various businesses around the area, that's pretty versatile and good part-time activity! (And also a good way to run into people, come to think of it.)
Yeah especially post-Awakening Lenka is used to hanging with age ranges from like 15 to 25 to beyond so really he'd take it in stride too.
