WELCOME TO THE FIRST PLANNING POST!

Congratulations on being accepted into the game. Now let's have a big meeting post, plan and have fun together!

AU PLANNING

The AU in this game is completely player's choice. We encourage you to take a look at the city and plan accordingly! Your AU information can be added to your character hub, should you desire. As long as it is available somewhere, and others can take a quick glance and know what the character's AU is.

We only ask that you try to keep everything tasteful and respect our decision if we feel you're going too far. As the game begins, you are free to continue using this post to plan or ask the mods first-post related questions. We'll do our best to answer in a timely manner!

The city of Eddan is very much a typical metropolis, so your characters can have any job that would make sense in a busy city. They don't have to be restricted to the school, or have a school job. If you're not sure, don't be shy about asking. There's a lot of freedom!

There is also a randomized AU signup if you'd like to leave it to chance who your family members are and establish pre-game CR with new people. But if you'd rather leave it for now and wait for other app turns, that's also fine!

The first log will be posted on MAY 13TH. Please vote on what time you want it to be posted. We'll go with player majority! (As a note, this will be done for all rounds).

classmates y/n? i'm still hashing out a good lot of eikichi's au, but i figure i'll ~return to his roots~, as it were, and maybe have him be a bit on the shy side? he and jun can be ambiguous pals or sommat??

Pre-awakening:


-Sayo(she will retain her canon name) will be working at the local library can usually be found at the desk reading a mystery by a classical author. She is a boy genetically but was raised as a girl for reasons she won't discuss with anyone but her closest friends.

-She is a melancholy person who has few friends and rarely comes out of her room except to buy food or new books.

-Family is up in the air so im up for anything.

awakened

-memories of the horribleness of her family all come flooding back, temporarily putting her into a state of depression and angst. It will take her a long time to get out of this./
-She is a master planner and can create devious closed room mysteries from scratch, making her useful in mapping out dungeons and traps.

-Her persona is the demon Gaap who will look like the Gaap in Umineko but more robotic in appearence.

-She is a healer, but can also use light and dark magic.

Hiiii, these two need to meet and and play some mystery games. Sayo's intellect will likely frustrate Erika to no end.

She also works at a library so maybe Erika can visit sometime?

Sayo works at a perfectly normal library as a desk worker, and rarely talks except if you are as much a fan of mystery and detective fiction as she is.

hi friends i'm late to the party... this is ash bringing in another persona child...

my au ideas for him atm are pretty vague, but if anyone wants to keep TDM stuff, i'm more than happy to do so!

basically, what i've got outlined so far is the following:

-16 years old, senior in the lower portion of schooling (i believe)
-childhood bffs/neighbors with lenka
-sort of quiet and shy exterior, a bit abrasive otherwise, can be animated when you get to know him
-lives with his parents; mostly intimidated by them, is an only child
-artist!!! mostly sketches things for fun and is very talented, but won't brag
-loves music!! but lacks any sort of confidence to perform in front of others
-doesn't really stand up for himself or others; he'd rather keep to himself

that's about it for now? i still haven't picked an AU name for him, either, oops. BUT i'm definitely in the market for some established CR! friends, enemies, relatives? maybe a cousin or two? LET'S PLOT

If he's friends with Lenka...he obviously needs to be friends with Jaune. I have a lot of Jaune's AU notes posted if you wanna check them out, but he's super close with Lenka.

I'd be good with classmates - I have him as a 16 year old who skipped a year or two and is now in the first year of the higher cycle, so classmates before the skip could work if you were going for a different school level?

Jun (AU name Lonán) is from a wealthy family, so I imagine he's from a pretty upscale part of town.... Would Kyoko's parents be the types to know a rich hipster family, would they be neighbors? If nothing else works, maybe they frequently ended up next to one another on commute to school or something.

I think he's living in the school dorms now, but he commuted before that.

Lonán (AU Jun) is like...a soccer star pre-Awakening, so there's. One! He's in the higher cycle but might still play for the senior cycle, he skipped a year or two.

Team needs a name. Who do they play? Maybe there's another school in Eddan that's the big sports rival?

Raidou probably lives on one of the upper floors, possibly in a single (because it's not like his parents can't pay for it, even if he is a Problem Child). He's still relatively new and not sure how long he's even going to be here, and it shows in the near-complete lack of personalization; he hasn't even bothered to fully unpack, outside of the essentials and his computer equipment. (Post-Awakening Raidou will take care of that himself.)

He's relatively tidy before and after Awakening, but moreso after. Pre-Awakening, he tends to eat a lot of takeout, while post-Awakening Raidou mostly does his own cooking. They're both on the quiet side, although in Raidou's case that's less intentional standoffishness than it is consideration for his neighbors. Post-Awakening Raidou is also more likely to have visitors over.
